We are pleased to announce that another scientific article resulting from the analysis of research material collected for the project has been published in a prestigious journal. The article by Violetta Kopińska entitled “Youth Organizations as a “Well-arranged” Symbolic Space: An Analysis of the Polish Online Discourse of AIESEC and ATD Fourth World” was published in Sage Open. The article aimed to identify the scope of the heterotopian compensatory function in the symbolic space created by the online discourses of two youth organizations: AIESEC and ATD Czwarty Świat. The article discusses the results of the analysis of the Polish discourse of these two internationally recognized organizations. The analysis used critical discourse analysis and a discursive approach to institutions. The results show how youth organizations construct their “offer”, what global “system” they present and what deficiencies/problems they tend to highlight in today’s world. Moreover, in the field of organizational discourse research, they illustrate how specific ideas defined at the programmatic level can be translated into a discourse of “solutions.”
